Coogan's Bluff:
Clint Eastwood is Arizona deputy Walt Coogan, sent to New York city to escort a prisoner home. But the prisoner is not ready to be transferred back to Arizona and so Coogan cuts a few corners. However, this helps the prisoner escape and, after Coogan clashes with the Sherrif McElroy (Lee J. Cobb), he is ordered back to Arizona. But Coogan does not want to give up his pursuit of the prisoner and takes the matter into his own hands.
The Beguiled:

When the woman, Evelyn Draper (Jessica Walter), orchestrates a rendezvous with Dave at his favourite nightspot, the two begin a torrid affair. But when Dave decides to end the relationship, Evelyn's obsession turns to violence. Soon everything and everyone in Dave's life becomes a target for Evelyn's increasingly deadly campaign of terror. Beautifully photographed on location in Eastwood's hometown of Carmel, California, Play Misty for Me continues to be considered one of the great modern-day thrillers.
