Best friends Masaru and Shinji are two high school slackers with no direction. They spend their time humiliating teachers and bullying classmates until an encounter with a tough local boxer provokes the pair into joining the local gym. While one begins to show promise and the prospect of a future in the sport, the other takes another path, falling in with the local Yakuza gang. The friends drift apart, each going his own way and each struggling to succeed in the adult world.
