The Peter Cushing Collection (4 DVD)

Collection of four horror features starring Peter Cushing. 'And Now the Screaming Starts' (1973) is set in 1785 and stars Cushing as a mysterious doctor who is employed by a newly married couple to try and lift the curse placed on their house. 'Asylum' (1972) is a British horror anthology that contains a number of tales. The central story sees Dr Martin (Robert Powell) sent to Dunsmore Manor, a home for the insane where the lunatics run the asylum, while Cushing appears as Mr Smith, a man with a magic suit. 'The Flesh and the Fiends' (1960) revisits the story of the Edinburgh bodysnatchers, Burke (George Rose) and Hare (Donald Pleasence), who under the direction of Dr Knox (Cushing) often procure their corpses in an unorthodox manner. 'The Hellfire Club' (1961) follows the battle between two cousins, Jason (Keith Michell) and Thomas (Peter Arne), for an inheritance that swiftly turns bloody.
